Spartan was founded in 2012 by James B. Bonner III, a dedicated family and businessman, leading the charge at Spartan Emergency Water Removal, Madi Mae’s Rug Washing, and Heaven’s Best Carpet Cleaning. Jim, is an honorably discharged wounded disabled USMC Officer and a retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent. Most importantly, he is a family man. Jim and his wife, Kelly, have been married for 20 years, with two outstanding children, Colin and Madison.

The twin pillars of success for this company are family and military. It is through extensive training and regiment that we excel and is the foundation that Jim has set for this company. We have a saying at Spartan…”you’re part of our Spartan Family”. It is as simple as it sounds, should you work for us, partner with us, need to use our services, etc., you are part of our family, and we take care of our family. One of the most important pieces for Jim is taking care of his employees. Jim is a mentor to many in the company, working with individuals to help them excel in their career and providing nuggets of wisdom both on the professional and personal platforms of life. He truly invests in his teams.

It is through his 24 plus years of extensive military and law enforcement background, Jim has laid a foundation for success. "Oz, Daniel, Brian and Alex worked very hard and well to take care of some damage from a burst water pipe in the ceiling of my basement. Tore down drywall, took out carpet and padding without leaving any sort of mess. They set up drying units and a dehumidifier to remove the water and came back every day for three days to measure the wetness until it was dry. They did this with evident care for my situation and with utmost politeness and respect. I still have a ways to go to fix this, but Spartan gives me confidence that this problem will be well taken care of."
